We are pleased to announce the Beacon Hill Nursery School’s Back Play Yard is included as an example of a model design for movement and physical rehabilitation in the recently published book by Daniel Winterbottom and Amy Wagenfeld, titled Design for Healing Spaces Therapeutic Gardens. The space, designed as a nature-based play yard for Beacon Hill Nursery School, facilitates all sorts of movement – rolling, climbing, swinging, running and balancing as a part of the overall play experience.
More exciting Beacon Hill news is that the renovation of the front play yard is currently underway and slated to open this fall.
